Description
Aux Particules Vines is a whisky with a singular alchemy, a perfect harmony between malt and grape that brings together the French wine and cereal traditions.
This fifth opus is a first for the House of Benjamin Kuentz: it is the result of the blending of a single malt matured in ex-casks of a Bordeaux grand cru classé, Château Lafon-Rochet, and a touch of buckwheat whisky from a distillery in Finistère. Enveloping and warm, with fruity and vinous notes enhanced by a sweet spice and pastry notes. To be tasted like a great vintage !
The series, one might be tempted to write “unlimited” Aux Particules Vines, is based on the desire to refine whiskies under the major influence of great French wines, understanding that they are aged in casks that have been used to mature and store fine wine signatures. There, in this invisible space of culture, in the silence of the cellars, the magic of the transmission and the wood operate during the last months of the maturation of the whisky. In principle, there are infinite combinations in this exercise. This is the idea behind this collection of fine particles, so fine to the taste. It is governed by the passion for the marriage of aromas that drives Benjamin Kuentz, supported in his research by inspiring winemakers in their approach to terroir.
