The genealogy of the first two whiskies of the House of Benjamin Kuentz mentions roots in the Great East of France. It is there, above the water table of the Vosges springs, that the Distillerie de Rozelieures / Grallet Dupic, owner-harvester and distiller, was established 150 years ago.
Its owner, Christophe Dupic, is in love with his land. It produces and distills the mirabelle plum, an activity of the House since its creation. But he is not content with that. He also grows his own malting barley and has been producing whiskies for the past 15 years. The meeting immediately seduced the House of Benjamin Kuentz. The cereal know-how of the Lorraine craftsman and the mastery of the distillation of the fruit, of a very particular requirement, were the insurance of quality whiskies.
The passion of the man, Christophe Dupic, his concern for the traceability of products and his vision of whisky sealed this first collaboration with Benjamin Kuentz to create fresh and elegant whiskies which will have given birth to (D’un) Verre Printanier and Fin de Partie, two Single Malt with a real identity.
