Description

The encounter : The origin of this whisky from the west of France comes from a meeting between
the French whisky editor, Benjamin Kuentz, and a team with some crazy ideas: to make
to age wines and champagne under the sea off Ushant, in a concession granted by
the coastline. They offered me to try it with whisky.

The Project: The result is « completely separate », « very very beautiful » and « majestic » for
the few lucky ones who have already been able to taste the first tears coming out of the water.

Uisce de Profundis, the first whisky matured under the sea, is a French whisky of
experimental temperament, returned from the depths of the sea where he took the time to age
and become salinity-laden.
